12.9 miles! Doubling back on myself multiple times! And that’s from the exit of the canal, and doesn’t count the part when I travelling from the centre of the city to the start point of this route via the canal.

I’m feeling quite fit at the moment.

Comments re-enabled

Comments are now properly re-enabled! Sorry if you’ve been trying to post and not having any luck. Comments pending moderation were probably eaten, because I was getting 200+ a day and sifting through the spam to find the real comments was too hard, so ended up just denying everyone.

I’ve now got a new nifty maths question that changes with each post to hopefully stump the spammers properly..

Thanks to the ever-awesome Kakariki for pointing out the brokenness.

ps, cycling got called off today because of the torrential rain forecast.. will be going tomorrow at the crack of dawn.

cycling mission

Sunday August 5th, 2007 at 10:13 am | everything else

I am going cycling in Scotland from tomorrow. I will catch a train to Stirling, bike to Aberfoyle and try to camp by Loch Ard tomorrow night, getting to Lock Katrine by Monday, catch a ferry over Loch Katrine and then come back, hopefully back near a railway line, probably Dunblane by Tuesday/Wednesday morning. Catch a train from Dunblane to Achnashellach in the Wester Ross region, go up over the Coulin Pass, stay in a bothy, come down the other side, head down the A896 and on to the Isle of Skye.

Will let you know if I make it.
